Church of the Holy Comforter (Episcopal) in Vienna will be participating in the Open Houses of Faith program with an open house on Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 7-9 p.m. The open house will include a brief history of the Episcopal Church and its Anglican roots; music; information about beliefs, worship and Christian education; a tour of the facility and its artwork; information about mission programs; and refreshments.

Epiphany United Methodist Church will hold it annual chocolate festival on Saturday, Feb. 10, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at 1014 Country Club Drive, N.E., Vienna. There will be a chili dinner, chocolates in many forms for sale, and an auction featuring theme baskets. Proceeds go to support the church’s mission programs. Call 703-938-3494.

The Friends of Pleasant Grove present their third annual Black History Month program on Saturday, Feb. 17, at noon at the Historic Pleasant Grove Church, 8641 Lewinsville Road, McLean. The guest speaker will be Virginia Williams, with a presentation of the hush harbor experience through selected readings and songs. Everyone is invited to attend; the event is free.
