The cars were speedy at the Green Acres Center in Fairfax on Jan. 27, as Fairfax scouts hosted their annual Pinewood Derby races. Members of Cub Scout Pack 882 and their families gathered together watched the cars, handmade by scouts and designed for maximum speed, race toward the finish line.
