The Advisory Committee for Students with Disabilities (ACSD) will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 11, at Dunn Loring Administrative Center located at 2334 Gallows Road, Dunn Loring, Virginia. The meeting begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. Use entrance 2. Guests are welcome to observe and/or provide public comment. Katherine Elizabeth Sullivan of Sterling, daughter of Timothy J. Sullivan of Sterling and Suzanne E.C. Rapp of Reston, has been selected for Honors Admission to the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg. She is a graduate of Park View High School.

David McFarland Stemler, a junior English creative writing major from Reston, received academic honors for the fall 2006 semester at Franklin & Marshall College. A student earns dean’s list recognition for achieving a 3.25 or better grade point average.

Sophia Armstrong from South Lakes High School is attending this summer’s Governor’s School for the Humanities at the University of Richmond. The four-week program is designed to encourage students’ individual growth and to challenge them to achieve personal excellence in their fields. To be selected to participate, students must be nominated by their high school and compete in a statewide selection process.
