When Dr. Corey Mainkof of Palmercare Chiropractic opened his practice in Sterling last year, he did so with a bang. Mainkof sponsored the Sterling Street Fair, and he is doing so again Sunday, July 8, at 46169 Westlake Drive in Sterling.
There will be magic shows, a balloon bounce, face painting and games. Local health providers and vendors will give out information about the different types of health-care available, Mainkof said. They will also be giving out prizes like massages and free teeth-whitening treatments.
Last year, approximately 350 residents turned out for the event.
"Our goal is 1,000 this year," he said.
Proceeds from the street fair will go to the Mara Adina Foundation, a nonprofit organization that collects money to help single mothers in Loudoun County.
