Potomac Falls Rings in the 4th

The crowd gathered at the foot of Kathleen Gilbert's driveway, clad in their red, white, and bluest. With streamers in hand, glittery hats perched on their heads and American flags in their hands they began the procession through the tree-lined streets of Potomac Falls. Children on bikes trailing red and blue balloons raced behind the flashing lights of the Cabin John Volunteer Fire Department escort, down Alloway Drive, then turned up Belmart Drive. When it was over, parents and their children settled in for an afternoon of food and games as the annual tradition of celebrating America's Independence continued.
