Montgomery Square holds Grand Reopening festivities.

Falls Road’s Montgomery Square Copenhaver Swim Club looks to continue producing world-class and Olympic champions in newfound style. After undergoing renovations that kept the pool closed through the early summer, the pool kicked off its Grand Reopening festivities on Saturday, July 21.

The new redesign includes a dynamic baby pool, a large water slide into the deep end of the adult pool, more deck space, a bigger grass terrace and a volleyball court, and more.

Montgomery Square has a long and distinguished history of producing world-class and Olympic champions, including Dan Veatch, who placed No. 7 at the 1988 Olympics in the 200 meter backstroke. Montgomery Square alum Clay Britt is a multiple national and international record holder; he holds the world record in the 100 meter short course backstroke. Mike Barrowman was a world record holder and Olympic gold medalist in the 200 meter breaststroke in the 1992 Olympics.

Visitors are welcome to try out Montgomery Square for the next two weeks free of charge. Visit www.mscswimclub.com for more information.
