Over 600 people turned out at Lorton Town Center Saturday afternoon, June 2 to sample food from the center's restaurants and win prizes from its other businesses. The businesses have moved into the new center over the last year, and Nicole Jones, sales and marketing manager for the developer Kettler, explained that Taste of Lorton was conceived to announce the shopping center's presence. However, she said the company hopes to make it an annual event. Kettler developed the Lorton Town Center, as well as the rest of the new Lorton Station planned community.
