A few roads outside Clifton were closed down Saturday evening, June 9, to make way for about 500 runners participating in the 10th annual Clifton Caboose 5K and One-Mile Fun Run. Most were town residents, but many were not. Among the runners were local politicians and political candidates, as well as former college track runners from miles around. Following the race was a picnic and awards ceremony in the park. Proceeds from the race go to the Clifton Betterment Association.
