The Bethesda Artist Market will return on Saturday, July 14, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The event will feature artwork and crafts for sale by local and regional artists including painting, photography, jewelry, clay, wood, glass and fiber. The Bethesda Painting Awards is downtown Bethesda’s annual juried art competition that exclusively honors painters. The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo will celebrate its new status as a non-profit corporation with an exhibit in the recently opened Popcorn Gallery at Glen Echo National Park. The exhibit, titled "POSSIBILITIES...," will feature art glass sculpture, vessels, and wall art, created especially for the gallery space by Resident Artists. The exhibit will run through July 15.
