"Green Race" 10K On W&OD. 6:30 p.m. The 10K race (6.2 miles) runs on the pancake-flat Washington & Old Dominion Trail, one of the nation's best-known rails-to-trails parks, from Ayr Hill Road to Hunter Mill Road and back, with a short spur onto Clark's Crossing Road and Batten Ridge Road. Asian Festival. 10 a.m.-9 p.m. at the Lake Newport Tennis Park, 11452 Baron Cameron Ave., Reston. This is a one-day event to promote a greater understanding of Asian culture. Includes food vendors, live music, martial arts demonstrations, a movie tent and in conjunction with the Festival, a tennis tournament, Asian Idol singing contest and an all-day Nintendo Wii tournament.
