The Loudoun County Department of Family Services will hold its next "Homeownership 101" workshop Monday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 14, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls.

The education workshop assists potential first-time home buyers in understanding the home-buying process. The six-hour workshop covers a number of topics relating to home ownership, including budgeting, credit, working with Realtors, the mortgage process and what to expect at settlement.

Attendance at both sessions is required. Participants must preregister by contacting Chris Vogel of the Department of Family Services at 703-777-0353 (V/TTY).

Weichert, Realtors' Leesburg Office announces that several sales associates have been honored for their achievements in January.

Leading the office in dollar volume and listings sold was Joan Elkon. President's Club member Kenan Goeller led the way in revenue units and sales, earning the honor of top seller. Goeller is also a member of the Executive's Gold Club, signifying a high level of sales financed through Weichert Financial. Leading the way in listings was Debra Saunders, a member of the Million Dollar Club and Executive's Gold Club.
