The 21st Citizen's Police Academy will commence Wednesday, March 14. The free sessions will be held one evening per week for 11-weeks and each session will be two hours in length, 7-9:30 p.m. All classes will be held at the Sheriff's Office administration building in Leesburg with the exception of the firearms training session, which will be held at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office firearm's range located off of Route 50 in the Chantilly area.

Sterling Annex Community Center, 22084 Shaw Road, is offering computer classes for adults. All classes are on Thursday nights, from 7-8:30 p.m. Computers are provided. Artist Maggie Siner will lead an oil painting workshop at the Loudoun Academy of the Arts, 222 South King St., Leesburg. In this 15-hour weekend workshop, participants will paint from direct observation, learning how to strengthen their visual sensitivity and will also explore form, space, light and the dynamics of color. The Loudoun County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will offer a Virginia Gardener Shortcourse. The Shortcourse is a condensed version of the training that Trainees who are new members of the Master Gardener Volunteer program receive. The Shortcourse is held in the Loudoun Cooperative Extension conference room at 30-B Catoctin Circle, SE (Wachovia Bank Building), Leesburg.
