Our Town' at Park View

Following the success of its recent productions of "Damn Yankees" and "The Man Who Came to Dinner," Park View High School in Sterling closes out the year with its spring production of Thornton Wilder's "Our Town."

The show tells the story of a small American town over the spread of one woman's life and the stories of the varied people who live there. Considered one of the masterpieces of American drama, Mr. Wilder's script will be accompanied at Park View by a minimalistic set and the traditional lack of props, as well as period costuming and hairstyles. The production will also be performed in greyscale: the only colors used on the actors makeup, costumes, and the sets will be black, white, and grey tones, creating a truly unique and nostalgic look for PVHS' final production of the year.

Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults. The show performs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in the Park View Auditorium, April 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
