Fairfax Farmers Market begins 2007 at Van Dyck Park.

A sure sign of spring’s arrival is the opening of farmers markets across the Fairfax County. The 2007 Fairfax Farmers Market opened for the season on Tuesday morning, May 1, at Van Dyck Park in the City of Fairfax. The market is open Tuesdays through Oct. 30, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

On Saturday, two other nearby markets open for business. The Burke Farmers Market is open Saturdays, through Oct. 27, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m., at VRE Parking Lot, 5671 Roberts Parkway, Burke. The Fairfax Downtown Coalition Farmers Market is open Saturdays, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., at West and Main streets in Fairfax.
