Sarah Willis was born and raised in Kingsland, Ark. and a 50-year resident of Alexandria and Mount Vernon. She died on May 7. She was the daughter of Watt Malone Bryant and Virgie Emma Kea Bryant.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert R. Willis, and a son, Kevin R. Willis. She is survived by her children, Bryant Willis of Bremerton, Wa., and Kacy Clokey of Westminster, Md.; grandson, William Kuit of Westminster, Md.; sisters, Betty Livingston and Etta Bryant both of Texas, Carolyn Keegan and Francis Welch of Maryland; many nieces, nephews and extended family; and step-children Joe Willis and Nancy Willis of Alexandria. A visitation was held on Thursday, May 10 at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria and funeral services were held on Friday, May 11. Interment to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
