Potomac United Methodist Church held its 17th annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, May 19. The event featured pottery, jewelry, hand-blown glassworks and of course, strawberries — a la mode, with shortcake and whipped cream, or dipped in chocolate. The Strawberry Festival is a major fundraiser of the Potomac United Methodist Women. Proceeds support more than 14 programs and missions locally and abroad. See www.potomac-umc.org.
