In observance of National Business Women's Week in October, Business and Professional Women of Greater Fairfax will host a networking reception to recognize the efforts of workingwomen in the area and around the country. This is an opportunity to showcase a business or organization and learn about the BPW of Greater Fairfax Organization. The reception will be Monday, Oct. 8, 6:30-9 p.m., at Tysons Corner Embassy Suites, 8517 Leesburg Pike, Vienna. Cost of the reception is $25 for members and $ 28 for non-members. Annual Community Recycling Roadshow, Saturday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Herndon High School, 700 Bennett St., Herndon.

The Great Falls Women’s Club will tour Dodona Manor, a National Historic Landmark and former home of General George C. Marshall, Thursday, Oct. 18.
