<lst>Each year, Arena Stage announces its upcoming season of theater productions with illustrations by nationally known artists. These original works of art will be on display in an exhibit at Montgomery College’s Communication Arts Technologies (CAT) Gallery through Oct. 26. The CAT Gallery is in Room 106 of the Technical Center, which is located on the College’s Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee Street in Rockville. Visit Clara Barton National Historic Site at Glen Echo Park, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, during September and October and view "The Art of Clara Barton," a gallery showing of artwork depicting Clara Barton, scenes from her life and the National Historic Site. The exhibit will also include Clara Barton’s own artwork. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Thursday and weekends, 1-4 p.m. The show will run through Nov. 1.

Photoworks at Glen Echo, 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, presents award-winning photographer Lauren Henkin's "The Other Charleston," a documentary series of black and white photographs of Charleston, West Virginia. Also showing is Leta O'Steen's "833 Mapleton Terrace," an ongoing series of color photographs of the artist’s family. Both shows run through Nov. 18. The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo exhibits continually in the Art Glass Center Gallery. These exhibits feature the work of resident artists Diane Cab, Christine Hekimian, Bev and Zayde Sleph, and Bobbi Vischi. Sculpture, vessels, functional art, and jewelry are also for sale. All exhibited work is made at the Art Glass Center Studio. The Art Glass Center also produces other exhibits featuring resident artists, faculty, students and invited artists.
