Chipotle will be holding a fund-raiser for Broad Run High School Thursday, Oct. 25, 5-8 p.m., at the Chipotle located at 43660 Yukon Drive in Ryan Park Center, corner of Shellhorn and Ashburn Village. Donate $5 and receive a dinner at Chipotle. Choose from a big burrito, an order or tacos, or a salad and drink. All proceeds go to Broad Run High School student activities.

Tickets are on sale for the mega cash sweepstakes to benefit the Potomac Falls High School band program. The prize will be $5,000 cash. The drawing for the winning ticket will be held during the halftime of the Potomac Falls High School football game Nov. 9. The winner must be 18 years old or older and need not be present to win. Tickets are $20 each. Only 500 tickets will be sold. Purchase tickets by contacting the Potomac Falls High School Band Boosters via e-mail at PFHSbandboosters@gmail.com.

Park View High School preschool is now accepting applications for the morning and afternoon sessions beginning at the end of September. Children must be 3-plus years and potty trained. Call Diane Edwards at 703-444-7500, Ext. 36.

The Briar Woods High School Music Boosters Association announces that the 2007 Tag Day fund-raising event set a new record at more than $14,900. The previous record, set last year, was $13,200. Tag Day was held Saturday, Sept. 8.
