Get Me Started, a new series of painting classes for adults who want to learn to paint but don’t know where to start, will be offered in October from 12:30 - 3 p.m. each Saturday. Participants need to pre-register for each class but do not need to purchase any supplies. The fee for each class is $25, which includes all materials and tools. Four separate classes include: Oil/Acrylic (Oct. 6), Watercolor (Oct. 13), Pastel, (Oct. 20) and Charcoal/Graphite/Colored Pencil (Oct. 27). The Loudoun County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will offer a Virginia Gardener Shortcourse. The Shortcourse is a condensed version of the training that Trainees who are new members of the Master Gardener Volunteer program receive.
