T.C. Williams senior forward was voted second-team all-state by the Virginia High School Coaches Association on Tuesday.

The awards continue to pile up for T.C. Williams boys basketball coach Ivan Thomas. After winning the Northern Region Coach of the Year award for the second straight year — and his third in six seasons — the Titans coach was voted the Virginia Group AAA Coach of the Year by the Virginia High School Coaches Association.

T.C. Williams senior forward Anthony Winbush, who was selected the most valuable player in the Northern Region tournament, was voted to the second-team all-state team, according to the coaches.

McLean senior guard Tarek Ammoury, who averaged 21.3 points per game, was the lone Northern Region representative on the Group AAA all-state first-team. Ammoury, who is still mulling his collegiate decision, was also named the Northern Region Player of the Year.

Kecoughtan 6-foot-7 forward Ricardo Ratliffe was chosen as the state’s Player of the Year. According to a recent report, the senior is considering prep school, but is also receiving interest from Rutgers, Virginia Tech, La Salle, Murray State and Temple.

He was joined by Deep Creek 6-foot-5 forward Corey Law, who signed with High Point University and GW-Danville senior guard Nick Barbour, the Northwest Region’s Player of the Year. Highland Springs senior forward Harry Lee Daniel, a Richmond football signee, rounded out the coaches’ all-state first-team.

Winbush was joined on the second-team by Nansemond River 6-foot-2 senior guard Andre Jones, a Winthrop signee and Prince George 6-foot-7 senior forward/center Andre Williamson, who has inked with Appalachian State. The three seniors were joined by two underclassmen, John Marshall sophomore forward Travis McKie and King’s Fork junior guard Jaquon Parker.

The Associated Press all-state team, considered the "official" all-state squad by most media, has not been announced.
