SYA Little League conducted its Opening Day Ceremony on Saturday, April 12 at the LLV Fields next to Willow Springs Elementary School. The ceremony kicked off the spring 2008 SYA Little League season. As part of the ceremony, three players were chosen for the Player Citizenship Awards. The awards recognize players in SYA baseball that have been strong baseball players, but more importantly, good citizens off the field.
