On April 19, Clarke Gray, President of Greater Vienna Babe Ruth, presented plaques to the recipients of the 2007 Scott Rawson Sloan Life Award. The award is presented annually in honor of Scott Rawson Sloan, a former Madison baseball player who, was killed in an automobile accident in 1992, at the age of 16. The award was established by Scott's family to recognize Babe Ruth players annually, who demonstrate love and respect for the game and for those who play it, as well as for those who demonstrate leadership, strong values and mentorship.
