Herndon’s Neighborhood Resource Center

The Neighborhood Resource Center is a joint effort of the Town of Herndon and Fairfax County that opened in July of 1999. The center features several rooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms and a meeting center. The NRC also offers meeting space for community organizations and groups.

At the information desk, staff is available to provide general information and referral. The NRC staff is bilingual in English and Spanish.

There is also a Community Association Reference Library. Also located in the NRC is the Herndon Police Department's Community Resource Office. This office offers crime prevention programs, such as the Neighborhood Watch Program. For more information, contact 703-787-7627. It also houses the Police Department's Youth Services section.
