Anuradha N. Ralapati, MD, of Centreville has been named Medical Director for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care of Northern Virginia. In this role, Dr. Ralapati directs patients' medical care, including pain and wound management protocols; supports interdisciplinary care teams ensuring quality care and assessing hospice-appropriate patients; and educates healthcare providers and the public on the qualities and values of hospice care.

Melissa Slocum, a career-long Marriott employee, has been named director of finance and accounting for Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles in Chantilly. Slocum has been a Marriott employee since beginning her career in 2002. Most recently, she worked as the director of finance for Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, where she received acclaim as the "Best New Talent — Director of Finance" in 2006.

My Gym of Chantilly will serve as a resource to further community awareness of InstantAmber (InstantAmber.com), an online data registry that enables law enforcement to retrieve critical data and photos in the event of a missing child emergency.
