Alexandria Athletes Honored

Victor McKoy, 18, of Alexandria, received the Most Valuable Player award for the Randolph-Macon Academy varsity football team after leading the Jackets in rushing this season. Victor is a senior at the Academy.

Episcopal’s Mary Foran (Junior, Outside Hitter) was selected as a member of the Virginia Independent School Volleyball Association (VISVA) All-State team.

Sophomore Summer Baxter, an Alexandria native who attends St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. was named honorable mention all-WCAC for her play in field hockey this season.

<b>Parker Gray Game</b>

The T.C. Williams High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team home game on Dec.9 will be the second annual Parker-Gray Memorial Game, a tribute to the high school that served Alexandria's African-American students from 1950 until 1965. T.C. Williams team members will be dressed in Parker-Gray uniforms as they face Mount Vernon High School.

The game will start at 7:45 p.m. in the school's gymnasium, 3330 King St., Alexandria. Admission is $5. For more information, contact the T.C. Williams Athletic Department at 703-824-6860.
