The Douglass Community Center, 405 E. Market St., Leesburg, is holding winter break trip camps for elementary- and middle-school students over Christmas break. Students will go on trips with their respective grade grouping Dec. 22, 23, 26, 29, 30 and 31, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. each day. Cost: $38 per day. The Good Shepherd Alliance is holding a winter boot camp at Velocity Sports Performance, 21690 Red Run Drive, Ashburn, with all proceeds going to benefit homeless families, Feb. 2-March 27, at 6-7 a.m., 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 6:15-7:15 p.m. Cost: $150 twice a week; $225 three days; $375 five days. The Claude Moore Community Center is offering Fun at Preschool, a class that introduces basic preschool skills each week around a central theme through stories, art, creative movement and play. This class is for 3 1/2-4 1/2 year olds and is on going and will end in June. Call 571-258-3500 for dates, times and fees.

The Claude Moore Community Center, 46111 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, is accepting registrations for My First Preschool. Children must be 2 years old.
