Olney Theatre Center will present "Two Gentleman of Verona" as part of the 19th Annual Free Summer Shakespeare Festival, June 19-29. All performances begin at 8:15 p.m. and the audience is encouraged to arrive as early as 6:30 p.m. to picnic on the theater grounds. The theater is located at 2001 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney. "Backstage Broadway," Bethesda Little Theatre’s original musical revue will be at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh Street, Bethesda, June 20, and 21, at 7:30 p.m., and June 22, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 adult, $12 senior/child and groups of 10 or more, $10 each. This summer, Montgomery College will bring two musicals to the stage — "Evita" and "Disney’s Beauty and the Beast" — for its Summer Dinner Theatre performances, starting June 20. "Evita" performances will take place June 20-21, 27-29 and July 5-6. "Disney’s Beauty and the Beast" will run July 18-19, 25-27 and Aug. 1-3. Tickets for Summer Dinner Theatre are $37 for adults and $27 for children ages 12 and under. Prices include the performance and a full dinner buffet. At Friday and Saturday night performances, the doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with a show time of 8:15 p.m. On Sunday, the buffet will open at 12:30 p.m., with a 2:15 p.m. show time. "World of Jewtopia" will be at the Bethesda Theatre, 7719 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, through June 22. Once a staple in Olney's season, the summer mystery play makes a comeback after a 25-year hiatus with Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap." The Puppet Co. presents "Tiny Tot Tuesdays," a program designed for our youngest theater patrons (ages 0 - 4). Elementary school students in grades 4, 5 and 6 can now enjoy an educational and entertaining 45-minute play called "Clara Barton, the Courage Within" at Adventure Theatre at Glen Echo Park, 7300 MacArthur Blvd. Glen Echo. After the play, students visit nearby Clara Barton National Historic Site where Miss Barton lived and conducted the American Red Cross for 15 years.
