The Spanish Fiesta and performance was hosted by Learning Fun school in McLean on April 18. Parents, grandparents and siblings were invited to the fiesta too. Spanish is offered as a second language and is integrated into the regular Kindergarten Enrichment program. Some 15 kindergarteners are enrolled this year and 12 were able to make it to the Spanish performance. The presentation of 200 vocabulary words, and rhymes was impressive, considering that none of these students have Spanish as a native language.
