Congregation Tikvat Israel in Rockville will host a presentation by Dr. Chuck Lawson on the topic "Bringing Parties Together: Water in the Middle East Peace Process" at 10:15 a.m. Lawson is the senior advisor for science and technology at the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs in the State Department. He will discuss his experiences negotiating water rights issues in the Middle East over the past two decades. The lecture cost is $5.
