An independent nonprofit organization, Fairfax CASA recruits and trains volunteers to investigate a child’s situation and to advocate for the best interests of the child in court. Diabetes Awareness Forum. The Reston Chapter of The Links, Inc. is hosting a Town Hall focused on prevention and tools for successful management of diabetes from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Hunters Woods Community Center, 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston. Weed Warriors. Help rescue Reston’s beautiful parkland from aggressive, invasive plants such as English Ivy, Japanese Honeysuckle and Bamboo in the Weed Warriors Project from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Old Trail Drive in Reston.
