The Senior Center at Cascades Marketplace, 21060 Whitfield Place, Sterling, will be open for absentee voting Monday-Friday, Oct. 20-24 and Oct. 27-31, from 5-8 p.m.; Saturdays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The 2008/09 Loudoun Farms Product Guide is available. This guide helps consumers find local farm products and services throughout the growing season. Among the goods included are eggs, meats, flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables, wool products, soaps, herbs and grains. The Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association has launched their redesigned and revamped consumer Web site, www.VisitLoudoun.org. The Web site is more user-friendly, easier to navigate and includes many features. In addition to new sections on Food & Wine, Heritage and Gatherings, 36 videos and three color online guides, users are able to create their own visit around Loudoun and map it with Google maps.

State Farm Insurance is holding a food drive in October for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Network in honor of National Hunger Action Month. Drop off nonperishable food items at any local State Farm office during regular business hours or donate food online by visiting www.brafb.org and clicking on the State Farm logo to participate.

Loudoun County Public Libraries has added OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks to its downloadable media collection. OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks can be downloaded and transferred to devices including the iPod and iPhone. Valid library card required.
