Clifton resident W. McCauley Arnold, a principal of the firm McCandlish & Lillard, has have been recognized by Virginia SuperLawyers magazine as one of Virginia’s top attorneys in 2008. Virginia SuperLawyers determines who is to be included as a "SuperLawyer" by surveying other attorneys practicing in the Commonwealth. Arnold was named in the category of Construction Litigation. His practice has involved the defense and collection of substantial construction related claims, in both private and governmental building projects.

Nicholas Draper, president of Granite Source in Chantilly, announced that Mike Kostello, formerly a senior project manager with NV Homes, has been appointed as operations manager. Granite Source, a leading manufacturer of custom granite and marble countertops in Virginia, recently added this position in response to a steady growth pattern that required additional leadership.

Kostello brings more than 25 years experience in customer service — as a district manager for Color Tile, a partner in East Coast Associates, and most recently, with NV Homes. He is no stranger to the countertop industry, as East Coast Associates fabricated and distributed custom countertops in the Washington, D.C. area.

Michael and Laura Pierce, providers of non-medical in-home care services to local families, were recently honored by CK Franchising Inc. for their performance as a Comfort Keepers franchise owner. The Pierces were recognized during the Celebration Dinner and Awards Ceremony during the Comfort Keepers Annual Conference held in Tucson, May 31.
