Babygarten, a program for infants and their parents/caregivers, will be offered at local libraries. Finding Foundation Support for Your Education, a free Foundation Center course open to the public, is Friday Jan. 9, from 4-5 p.m., at the George Washington University Virginia Campus Library, 44983 Knoll Square, Ashburn. This one-hour class explores finding financial support for college. The Loudoun Literacy Council is offering a free, two-session, Instructor Training course Saturday, Jan. 10 and 24, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., for those who would like to teach students in basic literacy or English as a Second Language. The course features hands-on exercises to practice proven techniques for teaching in the classroom or one-on-one.
