The Loudoun County Department of Family Services’ foster care children are the recipients of a $500 grant from the Soaring Higher Foundation. Loudoun County residents Kelly Posacki and her sons, Nathan and Adam, presented a check from the foundation to Foster Care and Adoption Program staff in a recent ceremony. The money will be used to meet the needs of foster children in the custody of the Department of Family Services. The children’s book club will meet Thursday, Jan. 22, 4 p.m., at Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls.
