Even Grounds, a provider of accessibility consulting and services, has received Alexandria's 2008 Disability Awareness Award for its efforts in helping local businesses meet the needs of people with disabilities.
Supporters of the Alexandria Soft Playroom have been raising funds for over a year — with more than $20,000 raised to date — and are trying to reach a goal of $25,000.
