The Good Shepherd Alliance is holding a winter boot camp at Velocity Sports Performance, 21690 Red Run Drive, Ashburn, with all proceeds going to benefit homeless families, Feb. 2-March 27, at 6-7 a.m., 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 6:15-7:15 p.m. Cost: $150 twice a week; $225 three days; $375 five days. Dulles Town Center, 21100 Dulles Town Circle, Dulles, is holding the 10th Annual Camp and Summer Activities Fair Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 8, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This weekend event features camps from across the Mid-Atlantic region along with hands-on interactive stations, exhibits and live entertainment. The first 100 families to arrive and register on-site will receive a free gift. Free.

Shenandoah University moved its Northern Virginia Campus in December to a newly constructed facility near Landsdowne and Janelia Farm off Route 7 East. The university began spring semester classes in the new location on Monday, Jan. 12. Academic spaces along with administrative offices will occupy the 19,864-square-foot first floor of the new Ashmill Office Building at 44160 Scholar Plaza in Leesburg, more than doubling the 8,600-square-foot space available at the former campus location on Trailview Boulevard in Leesburg.
