Fourth-graders Hatem Elnahas and Anissa Ashraf, with art teacher Ms. Shelton, at James K. Polk Elementary School are winners in the 50th Anniversary Dash Bus Art Contest that was open to all fourth-grade City of Alexandria students. They designed a poster with the theme "DASH bus helps the community." The winning artists received a goodie bag of school supplies and a T-shirt awarded in March at the Viola Lawson Lobby at Alexandria City Hall.
