Volunteers, ages 13 or older, are needed for Weed Warriors – Protect the Restored Stream on Saturday, June 27, 10 a.m. – 12 noon. They will help protect the restored stream from invasive Japanese Honeysuckle, Multi-flora Rose and more. The group will meet at the Hunters Woods Shopping Center 2310 Colts Neck Road in Reston, near the Rite-aid, and walk down the hill to the stream. Volunteer Orientation will be held Friday, July 10, 6 – 7 p.m. at the Pavilion at Reston Town Center (pizza will be served).
