Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Segergren of Ljung, Sweden, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Gudrun, to Daniel Gilbert Vennetti, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Vennetti of Orlando, Fla.
Ms. Segergren will graduate with a bachelor of social science in international crisis and conflict management in January of 2010 from Umeå University .
Mr. Vennetti, a 1997 graduate of Wootton High School, earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently working at the SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden in Boras, Sweden.
An August wedding in Vänga, Sweden is planned.
