Mr. and Mrs. Gary Grasso of Centreville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Pilvelait, to Brandon Burge, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Weigel of Weatherford, Texas.
Kate Pilvelait is a 1999 graduate of Chantilly High School, a 2003 graduate of Radford University with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies, and a 2008 graduate of George Mason University with a master of arts in new professional studies: teaching. She is currently employed as a teacher at Union Mill Elementary School in Clifton.
Brandon Burge is a 1999 graduate of Centreville High School and a 2005 graduate of Radford University with a bachelor of science in information science and systems. He is currently employed as a systems engineer at Raytheon Company in Springfield.
The couple will be married in May 2010 in Bristow, Va.
