<b>Thursday/ Oct. 15</b>

Health Fair and Bazaar at the Lewinsville Senior Center, 1609 Great Falls St., McLean, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Flu shots provided by Maxim, glucose and cholesterol screenings provided by Inova, hearing screenings provided by Better Hearing Center, and more for people 55 years and over. There is no co-pay with primary insurance from Medicare part B, Humana Gold and Aetna (all plans). If you are not covered by one of these insurance plans, the flu shot is $22. 703-442-9075.

<b>Saturday/Oct. 17</b>

Langley High School Choral Department Carwash Fundraiser. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Great Falls Exxon station on Georgetown Pike in the village. Proceeds will support program needs and activities of the LHS Choral department's six choirs.

INOVA Flu Shot Clinic, 9 -10:30 a.m. at the Charles Wesley United Methodist Church, 6817 Dean Drive, McLean, VA 22101. Seasonal flu shots will be given to individuals 18 years and older. Bring your Medicare card with you. INOVA Health System will process Medicare Part B claims, otherwise the cost is $25. H1N1 flu shots will not be administered. To ensure a short stay, call the church office Monday—Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. to reserve a 15 minute interval. The office phone is 703-356-6336.

The McLean Branch of the American Association of University Women Monthly Meeting. 7 p.m. at the McLean Community Center. <b>Friday/Oct. 23</b>

The McLean Art Society will feature artist Robert Johnson, 10 a.m.-12 noon, at the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Rd. (703 790-0123}. Johnson paints in oil and is a life member of the Art Student's League of New York City, as well as a signature member of Allied Artists and Oil Painters of America. His work has received numerous awards. Guests are welcome.
