<b>Mount Vernon Football Loses</b>
The Mount Vernon football team lost to Washington-Lee 37-21 on Monday.
The Majors travel to face Falls Church on Friday.
<b>Registration Open For Wrestling Club</b>
Registration is under way for the Mount Vernon Mat Monsters. The Mat Monsters is a local youth wrestling club that is part of the Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation (NVWF). Youth between the ages of 7-14 are encouraged to join the team that meets in the wrestling room at Mount Vernon High School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning Nov. 17. Meets are held throughout the northern region and wrestlers are paired according to age, weight and experience.
