Esther Park, a fourth grader at Mosby Woods Elementary, Esther competed against 160 other students in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., in a contest to design a T-shirt picture for the Walk for the Homeless. Esther's design won, and it will be printed on 100,000 T-shirts for walkers to wear on the Walk for the Homeless. Lisa Paoletti, senior project manager for Fannie Mae, came to an Oct. 9 award ceremony at Mosby Woods and presented Esther and her family with a large framed poster of her prize winning T-shirt and a savings bond.
