New audiology practice in McLean, AudioSync Audiology & Hearing, will be sponsoring a Hearing Health Seminar with guest speaker Dave Fabry, Ph.D. at 4:30 p.m. at the Reston Hospital Center – West Wing, Room B, located at 1850 Town Center in Reston. The Hearing Health Seminar is an open forum, lead by Dr. Fabry, to learn more about the hearing ability, solutions to hearing loss and be able to have questions and concerns answered.

Reston Herndon AAUW Joint Meeting with National Council of Negro Women. 1- 3 p.m. at Reston Community Center, Lake Anne Plaza. Featured speaker will be Jane Flegal, Community Outreach Director of the Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic. The Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic provides free school physicals for school age children, care for adults with diabetes and high blood pressure and all non-emergency medical care for children. The clinic serves Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, and Centreville residents with no health insurance who are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Reston Master Plan Special Study Task Force Meeting. 7 p.m. Jo Ann Rose Gallery, Reston Community Center at Lake Anne. The special task force appointed by Supervisor Cathy Hudgins will meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month to develop a set of recommendations on amendments to the Reston Master Plan. Stream Restoration Meeting, Colvin Run Community Outreach. 9 a.m. at Forest Edge Elementary School, 1501 Becontree Lane, Reston. Residents east of Reston Parkway and north of the Dulles Toll Road are invited to hear about Reston’s Stream Restoration Project in the Colvin Run watershed.
