Five questions with Washington-Lee incoming senior lineman Danny Guenther

Q: What location is the farthest from the Washington D.C. metro area that you have traveled?

A: We went to Italy after freshman year [for vacation].

Q: Who is your favorite music artist?

A: Eminem. All of his music gets me excited. All of it gets me ready to go. I listen to a lot of it before games.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: "Black Hawk Down." I like action movies and it tells a story about brotherhood and sacrificing for the guy next to you, which I think you see in football.

Q: What are your plans for after high school?

A: College, probably somewhere in Virginia.

Q: Has it hit you that you’re entering your senior year of high school?

A: I think about it all the time. It’s been a dream of mine to play college football, but I feel like because of my size (5 feet 9, 200 pounds) and my position (center) it’s going to be hard for me to find a good academic school that is also a good football school where I can play. It’s been hard for me to accept that it’s going to be over.
