<b>Q: What location is the farthest from the Washington D.C. metro area that you’ve traveled?</b>

A: I went to Rome over spring break. I was on a Latin field trip.

<b>Q: Who is your favorite music artist?</b>

A: Vince Guaraldi. He’s the creator of the Peanuts music — a jazz pianist. I really like jazz. All his music exudes a joy.

<b>Q: What’s the best feeling you can have while competing at a track meet?</b>

A: Around the final turn reeling somebody in.

<b>Q: What do you like to do in your free time?</b>

A: I really like playing the piano. Music is a big part of my life.

<b>Q: When did you start playing the piano?</b>

A: When I was 4 or 5.
