This musical spoof of the horror genre about Bunnicula, the vampire bunny, is the perfect treat for the Halloween season. Spot’s Birthday Party celebrates the birthday of Spot, the beloved character brought to life by Eric Hill’s Find Spot series, now celebrating its 30th year in publication. Spot's friends Tom the crocodile, Helena the hippo and Steve the monkey will be there for the fun, games, songs and magic. <cal2>"Len Piper’s Pinocchio." This production was created by the father of TPC cofounder Christopher Piper, and is completely refurbished and adapted for the Puppet Co. stage. Told with life-size marionettes and live actors, it is the story of a puppet that sheds its strings in pursuit of becoming a real boy. His adventures lead him into danger and foul company. A Fox and Cat sell him to an evil puppetmaster, he almost makes a donkey of himself, and to rescue his papa he must be swallowed by a whale. But, in the end, with the help of a talking cricket and a blue fairy, he is reunited with his father and granted his heart’s desire. Recommended for PreK – Grade 6. Running time is 50 minutes.
