Sleigh bells are ringing in Burke. Starting this week, the Burke Volunteer Fire Department will be riding through the Burke community with Santa. To find out if your neighborhood is on Santa’s “nice” list, visit the Burke Volunteer Fire Department's Website at www.bvfrd.org.

Supervisor John Cook (R-Braddock) will be helping Santa again this year along with the Fairfax County Fire Department and the Bonnie Brae Civic Association. On Sunday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m., they will be riding through the Bonnie Brae community to spread holiday cheer and also to pass out candy to children. If you live in the Bonnie Brae community, be on the lookout for Santa and the Fire Department in your neighborhood.
