‘Smiles for Life’ Supports UCM

Alexandria dentists Dr. James Geren and Dr. Zeyad Mady are participating in the Smiles for Life program, which will allow their patients to whiten their smile and help needy children at the same time. Running until the end of June, the dentists will offer professional teeth whitening services to the community at a reduced rate and donate 100 percent of the proceeds to support children in need. Half of these donations will go to United Community Ministries (UCM) to support the Bryant Early Learning Center, while the other half will go to national children’s charities.

To participate, call Geren and Mady’s office at 703-360-5881 and make an appointment for professional teeth whitening services. The special rate is $295 [the amount was printed incorrectly last week], which is paid directly to Smiles for Life, who will then send half to UCM and half to other children’s charities. The appointment must be conducted by the end of June in order to be included in the campaign.

Smiles for Life is a fund-raising program conducted to raise money locally and nationally for seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children. Since 1998, the program has raised over $30 million, benefiting hundreds of children’s charities. Smiles for Life is sponsored by members of the Crown Council, a group of dentists throughout the United States and Canada.
